Job summary

Momentum High School, part of Spring Independent School District in Houston, TX, seeks a Custodian for the morning opener to maintain classrooms and offices and to secure the building at closing.

The role is full-time, nonexempt, with a starting wage of $13.00 per hour and a mid wage of $15.30 per hour. English communication is required; one year of direct or job-related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English.
• One year direct or job-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by vacuuming, sweeping or mopping.
• Dust vents, ledges, shelves and horizontal surfaces.
• Disinfect restroom sinks, urinals, toilets, fixtures, partitions, showers and floors.
• Polish chrome and clean public areas.
• Assist when others are absent and ensure equipment stays clean and operable.
