Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
• Experience using cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, scrubbers).
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming floors.
• Gathers and empties trash and recycling; cleans restrooms.
• Dusts furniture, walls and equipment; cleans windows and fixtures.
• Shampoos or steam-cleans carpets and rugs; performs routine maintenance.
• Operates cleaning equipment safely; mixes solutions per safety guidelines.
• Manages inventory and ordering of supplies; supports in repairs.
