Qualifications

• Proficiency with computers and programs related to the position.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms and cafeterias, as assigned.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Operate power equipment such as wet-vacs, scrubbers, buffers, or other equipment used in building maintenance.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Notify supervisors about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Requisition supplies or equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Move heavy furniture or equipment as needed.
• Remove snow from sidewalks and driveways.
• Monitor building security and safety after hours.
• Set up furniture and equipment for school events.
• Make adjustments to heating and cooling systems.
• Drive school vehicles as required for cleaning work.
• Report suspected child endangerment or bullying as required by policy.
• Adhere to all district policies.
