Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Experience working with a diverse group of people.
• Embodies the core values of the district; relational, purposeful, reflective, resourceful, courageous and accountable.
• Must be able to perform each essential function; reasonable accommodations provided when appropriate.
• Criminal background check per district policy GAK(1).

Responsibilities

• Operates power tools and environmental housekeeping equipment.
• Performs manual labor indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Follows safety rules; passes drug/alcohol tests when required.
• Performs minor repairs and assembles furniture as needed.
• Performs routine custodial tasks: trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, conference room setups.
• Maintains custodial areas and carts; reports needs to head custodian.
• Uses cleaning supplies and equipment as directed; reports injuries and damages.
• Performs preventive maintenance on custodial equipment; handles restocking and organization.
• Performs other duties as requested.
