Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license.
• Experience working with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Operates power tools and environmental housekeeping equipment.
• Performs manual labor indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Follow safety rules and pass drug/alcohol tests when required.
• Open/close facility and ensure building security after hours.
• Supervise custodial staff and ensure cleaning meets district standards.
• Order appliances, equipment and cleaning materials as needed.
• Maintain inventory on hand per guidelines.
• Plan assignments and demonstrate how they are to be performed.
• Report deficiencies in heating/cooling and custodial equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and assemble furniture as needed.
• Return to facility after hours to restore condition.
• Handle routine tasks like trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
