Job summary

FOREST PARK MIDDLE in Morrow, Georgia is seeking a Custodian II (School-Based) for a 12-month term. The role ensures cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of the school and reports to the principal or designee.

Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, offices, and dining areas; operating custodial equipment; setting up for events; ordering supplies; and responding to emergencies as needed. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with English fluency and ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Experience in a school or facility-cleaning environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans classrooms, restrooms, offices and dining areas; mops floors, vacuums, strips floors, buffs and wax floors, empties trash.
• Operates commercial custodial equipment and maintains custodial supplies.
• Sets up and breaks down for events; maintains cleanliness and organization of custodial closet.
• Assists with district emergencies and general assignments as needed.
• Ensures safety and security of the building during daily operations.
