Job summary

Orono Public Schools is seeking a full-time Custodian Class 2 for the Orono Activities Center and High School. This 8-hour/day role emphasizes ground and project cleaning, setup and takedown for events, and ongoing maintenance across facilities.

The position requires reliability, good detail, and the ability to work with students and staff. The district provides health benefits, a uniform program, and a retirement plan, with a wage range of $20.80 to $23.11 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a commercial setting preferred.
• Ability to get along with district employees and be courteous with students and the public.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist, bend, and climb stairs as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
