Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a Custodial Worker to perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings. You will secure facilities, clean floors and rooms, and assist with deliveries and events, working under the Director of Facilities.

This role requires lifting, occasional outdoor work, and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities also include helping with snow removal, maintaining equipment, and supporting visitors and staff during school activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
• Driver's license or own transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure building at the start and end of shift.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and other areas per standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
• Remove graffiti and clean glass areas.
• Set up and break down chairs, tables and equipment for meetings.
• Clear snow and spread ice-melting chemicals.
• Perform grounds-keeping duties and assist in deliveries.
