Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English at a minimum 6th grade level.
• Ability to hear, understand, and follow oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas of school facilities in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
• Perform custodial tasks as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Use approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment per GCPS policies.
• Open and secure facilities or grounds as instructed by supervisory staff.
• Suggest alternate cleaning practices and assist in evaluations for efficiency.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
