Job summary

Lake Ridge Schools (Inc) is seeking a Custodial/Janitorial Worker for 185 days (260 days for Lead Custodian). The role is full-time, hourly non-exempt, reporting to the Director of Facilities. Shifts run Monday–Friday, with day or afternoon/evening options.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe facility across all areas. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Be a good will ambassador for the school community.
• Open and close the building as directed.
• Perform daily custodial tasks across classrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Operate custodial equipment safely and report hazards.
• Follow all board policies and supervisor directives.
• Report injuries or property damage promptly.
• Clean and sanitize classrooms, bathrooms, halls, and offices.
• Assist with post-event cleaning and maintenance as needed.
