ISD728 is seeking a dedicated Custodian for the day shift to maintain a clean, safe learning environment across facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning, light maintenance, event setup, and reporting hazards.

The role may involve overtime and coordination with lead staff. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, applicable certifications, and the ability to read and follow written instructions.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Possess and maintain valid driver's license.
• Possess and maintain valid certifications/licenses as required by the district.
• Read, understand and write instructions for equipment and supplies.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform custodial duties: scrubbing, vacuuming, waxing, dusting, sweeping, washing to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain and repair building equipment and systems as needed.
• Set up and tear down events and activities.
• Report hazards to supervisor and correct as necessary.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment like boilers or pools if required.
• Work a schedule including overtime and after-hours as needed.
