Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian to maintain a clean and safe school environment at the District Office/district‑wide facilities. The role includes daily cleaning, event setup, and light repairs to ensure a welcoming learning space.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 12 feet. Nondiscriminatory, supportive work culture offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintains overall cleanliness and upkeep of the school and site.
• Cleans classrooms, offices, hallways, entryways, restrooms, and common areas regularly and after events.
• Dusts and sanitizes surfaces including windows, desks, countertops, etc.
• Performs seasonal duties like stripping and waxing floors.
• Complies with health and safety codes including OSHA standards.
• Conducts minor maintenance such as bulb replacement and basic plumbing/electrical repairs.
• Sets up furniture and equipment for community use and school events.
