Job summary

The role emphasizes lifting, standing, walking, bending and operating medium machinery as part of daily duties. Positions report to the Facilities Supervisor and are non-exempt, with as-needed scheduling and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strenuous manual tasks for long periods of time.
• Extended periods of time on feet.
• Frequent walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting.
• Work in inclement weather conditions.
• Use of medium machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial work to maintain cleanliness of school buildings and surrounding areas.
• Follow training in the use of cleaning tools, equipment and supplies.
• Work under supervision in a facilities environment and comply with safety practices.
