Mesa Public Schools is seeking a full-time Custodian for Summit Academy in Mesa, AZ. The role supports clean, safe school environments and requires reliable, on-time performance. 2nd shift offers shift pay and comprehensive benefits.

Starting wage is $17.12 per hour with a 40-hour work week and retirement through ASRS. Qualified applicants may be subject to drug testing during probation and must meet district standards for safety and attendance.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of custodial equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and safety protocols.
• High School diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards.
• Perform many diversified tasks each day to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the schools.
• Operate custodial power equipment.
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools.
