Qualifications

• Ability to operate and maintain powered cleaning equipment per procedures.
• Ability to perform general custodial tasks (stripping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, etc.).
• Ability to move furniture and supplies and follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to read and follow safety labels and chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform custodial duties including floor care and cleaning of surfaces.
• Empty waste receptacles and manage trash disposal.
• Operate routine cleaning equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Clean grounds and exterior walkways using power tools as needed.
• Perform biomedical cleaning and sanitation following protocols.
• Move furniture and assist setup for events.
• Assist with setting up bleachers, chairs, and tables for events.
• Know and follow lockdown and emergency procedures.
• Report suspicious activity to safety staff.
• May perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.
