Job summary

HES is a premier facilities management provider focused on educational institutions. The Site Supervisor/Entry level Lead ensures cleanliness, safety, and smooth operations at a school site, guiding custodial staff and assisting with furniture setup and equipment maintenance.

This full-time role requires integrity and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include daily cleaning tasks, supervision of custodial employees, and ensuring tasks meet HES standards. Training and career growth available.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and comprehend at a level appropriate to the duties of the position.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans outside entrances.
• Clean restrooms, distribute supplies, and replenish items as needed.
• Change interior light bulbs that are reachable from a ladder level.
• Complete work requests to notify management of needed repairs.
• Remove snow and ice and apply salt when required.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and set up furniture and equipment for special events as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
