Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a school custodian to maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of facilities, and to support teachers with setup and maintenance of furniture and equipment.

The role requires leading a small team, performing routine cleaning tasks, and handling project setup for events within school environments. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and working a full shift in a school setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 2–10 people, depending on location.
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks as listed.
• Clean floors, walls, windows, restrooms and fixtures.
• Move, set up furniture and supplies for special functions.
• Complete work requests and notify management of needed repairs.
• Organize custodial closets and supply areas.
