Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a Custodial Manager for the 2nd shift in Elgin, IL. You will supervise custodial staff, inspect areas, and coordinate daily cleaning across campus buildings to meet standards of cleanliness.

Work with the facilities leadership to plan staffing, monitor performance, and support event setups. A high school diploma and supervisory experience in education or similar settings are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory or managerial work, preferably in a hotel, hospital or educational facility.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily custodial operations and staff.
• Inspect facilities to ensure cleanliness and order.
• Coordinate event setups across campuses and staffing.
• Prepare schedules and payroll support.
