Job summary

HES is seeking a Custodial Supervisor in the Chicago Heights, IL area to lead daily custodial operations on the 2nd shift. You will supervise custodians, coordinate safety practices, train staff, and ensure high-quality cleaning services for educational facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising custodial staff and coordinating daily work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and safety focus.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with cleaning operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodians on a daily basis to ensure quality and quantity targets.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily cleaning and major projects with management.
• Provide on-the-job training and safety coaching to staff.
• Investigate incidents and ensure proper PPE usage and reporting.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate with the manager as needed.
