Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a Custodial Manager for the 2nd shift in Elgin, IL. You will oversee custodial staff, ensure cleanliness across campuses, and coordinate event setups while managing budgets and schedules.

Role requires 3 years of supervisory experience in a facilities environment, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with clients and staff. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential for growth and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work of custodians; inspects areas for cleanliness and order.

• Assigns shift and area responsibilities; interprets contract and conducts training.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and submits supplies purchases.
• Coordinates cleaning projects and setup for events; coordinates vendor relations.

Job Objective:Under general direction, coordinates and supervises all aspects of daily and periodic cleaning in educational complexes to include; inspection of common areas to ensure cleanliness; supervises supervisors and head custodians, administrative assistant and custodians; determines appropriate staffing levels required for work projects; meet with client to monitor/ensure standards of cleanliness; may coordinate setup for events on all campuses.Essential Functions:This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive.
