South Washington County Schools is seeking a Crossing Guard Paraprofessional to ensure a safe environment for students during morning and afternoon hours at Cottage Grove Elementary. The role involves supervising crossings, assisting safety patrols, and coordinating with school staff.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and demonstrate effective teamwork, communication, and positive behavior modeling. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with additional pay for achieving Highly Qualified status.

Formación

• Proven teamwork, confidentiality, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform routine computer functions, including email and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise the safe crossing of students at designated crosswalks.
• Attend all adult crossing guard meetings as required.
• Monitor and document behavior of students and patrols.
