Responsibilities

• Assists students, parents, seniors, etc. for safe access to and from school.
• Communicates school policies and enforcement procedures to students, personnel and visitors.
• Directs students during crossing to ensure safety of pedestrians.
• Intervenes in potential emergency situations to minimize injury.
• Maintains equipment (stop sign, vests, street signs) for availability of items.
• Monitors students to ensure release to authorized parties per policy.
• Reports incidents related to specific students for follow up by staff.
• Responds to emergency situations to address safety concerns.
