Qualifications

• Master’s or advanced degree in relevant field.
• Licensed (e.g., LICSW/LMHC or School Psychologist) required.
• Experience with risk assessments and crisis intervention in school or clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and adolescent development.

Responsibilities

• Respond to school crises and lead clinical decision-making in real time.
• Conduct risk assessments (e.g., suicide, self-harm, threat assessment).
• Guide de-escalation and co-regulation strategies during acute incidents.
• Determine need for higher levels of care (Mobile Crisis Intervention, hospitalization).
• Support re-entry planning following crisis events or hospitalization.
• Consult with school teams on IEPs, FBAs, and behavior support plans.
• Provide coaching to staff on trauma-informed and relationship-based practices.
