Job summary

Holy Rosary School (Seattle) is seeking a dedicated School Counselor to support students from preschool through 8th grade. You will collaborate with homeroom teachers and administration to promote emotional safety and social-emotional development within the curriculum and school climate.

The role involves individual and group counseling, classroom lessons on SEL, crisis response when needed, and close coordination with families to support student well-being and achievement.

Qualifications

• WA State ESA certification as a school counselor preferred; other professional certification (i.e. MSW, LMHC) will be considered.
• Experience working with elementary and middle school students and parents in a school setting.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support academic and emotional progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to address performance and behavioral concerns and implement interventions.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate classroom lessons to support social-emotional learning and self-management.
