Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks a Part-Time School Counselor to support students at partner schools in the Bronx and Yonkers, NY. You will advocate for students, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote academic, behavioral, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• NYS Current School Counseling Certificated, preferred.
• Experience working with K-8 students desired.

• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
