Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
Florida School Counselor Certification (or eligible).
Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Strong empathy, crisis intervention, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Direct student counseling for academic, social-emotional, or behavioral needs.
Coordinate MTSS frameworks and monitor intervention plans.
Engage families and communities to support student progress.
Deliver schoolwide guidance lessons and social-emotional learning activities.
Maintain confidential student records and participate in leadership activities.
