Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid or eligible Florida School Counselor Certification.
• Excellent listening, empathy, crisis intervention, and organizational skills; aligned with our mission.
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Direct Student Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling for academic, social-emotional, or behavioral needs.
• Student Services & MTSS Coordination: Monitor intervention plans, support MTSS, respond to crises and referrals.
• Family & Community Engagement: Partner with families, facilitate meetings, share resources, communicate progress.
• Schoolwide Programs: Implement campus-wide guidance, character development, and social-emotional learning activities.
• Professional Responsibilities: Maintain confidential student docs and participate in leadership check-ins, PD and coaching.
