Job summary

BridgePrep Academy in partnership with SMART Management seeks a compassionate School Counselor to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral growth. You will provide individual and group counseling to help every student thrive in school and beyond.

Join a growing network of 21 Florida charter schools, lead MTSS initiatives, engage families, and implement campus-wide programs to foster a positive and data-driven school climate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Valid or eligible Florida School Counselor Certification.
• Background screening completion (Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Direct student counseling for academic, social-emotional, or behavioral needs.
• Monitor MTSS plans and respond to student crises and referrals.
• Engage families with meetings, resources, and progress updates.
• Deliver school-wide guidance lessons and social-emotional activities.
• Maintain confidential documentation and participate in leadership check-ins.
