Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks a licensed school counselor to lead a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program aligned with district goals and comprehensive standards. The role supports academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college/career readiness for all students and may serve at cluster, district-wide, or school-specific locations.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree, Georgia S-5 Level certification or Non-Renewable certificate, and preferably prior school

Qualifications

Master's degree required.
Georgia S-5 Level certification or Non-Renewable School Counseling certificate required.
Previous counseling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide support and leadership in implementing a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program aligned with district goals.
Provide student learning experiences supporting academic achievement, college/career readiness, and social-emotional growth.
Deliver tiered counseling services addressing student needs across academics, college/career, and social-emotional development.
Coordinate with staff to support classroom activities related to student outcomes.
Conduct individual and group counseling to support students' academic and career readiness.
