Job summary

The position requires NASP-approved certification pathway or specialist/master's level training and eligibility for school psychology certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of psycho-educational assessments and testing protocols.
• Ability to consult with administrators, teachers and parents, and understand learning and behavior principles.
• Familiarity with special education laws and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments for referred students.
• Select and administer appropriate tests for a diverse student population.
• Review test data and provide instructional recommendations.
• Participate on SSTs to support general education interventions.
• Assist with eligibility and reevaluation teams for special education services.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling support when needed.
• Deliver in-service training to staff and develop assessment documents.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of departmental processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
