Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is hiring a Part-Time School Counselor in Houston, Texas. Be an advocate for students, supporting behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development in a safe, inclusive environment.

You will conduct learning assessments, provide small-group and classroom counseling, and connect families with community resources. Flexible scheduling, opportunity to gain supervision hours, and professional development are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field required.
• Experience working with grades K-8 required.
• Licensure or certification as a school counselor (LMSW/LCSW/LPC-A/LPC or School Counselor Certification) desired.

Responsibilities

• Positively impact students’ educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
• Nurture student potential through small-group and classroom counseling for academic and social needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to identify strengths and growth areas and inform referrals.
• Connect parents and staff with community resources supporting students’ needs.
• Ensure administrative accuracy by completing paperwork efficiently.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Follow Counseling Policy Manual and school procedures to foster trust.
