Saint Louis Counseling operates eight offices throughout metropolitan St. Louis. In addition, its School Partnership Program (SPP) therapists provide onsite services to students at more than 100 schools as well as children who are homeless living at area shelters.
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, St. Louis Counseling, seeks an exceptional School Counselor to join our dedicated team. The School Counselor provides counseling and therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in school-based and community-based settings, helping students overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve academic and personal success. This role collaborates closely with educators, families, and community partners, promotes awareness of available counseling services, and supports administrative initiatives as needed. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, skilled mental health professional who demonstrates clinical excellence, strong relationship-building abilities, and a commitment to serving others in alignment with the mission of Catholic Charities. This is a full-time position. Starting compensation is $46,000 annually and is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and licensure.

Pre-Employment Screening
All candidates receiving an employment offer must submit a pre-employment screening. The screenings will include criminal background check and other background checks (as needed), Family Care Safety Registration, drug screen, an employment and education or licensure/certification verification, and Covid-19 and Influenza vaccination. Various positions will require physical examination, Tuberculosis screening and Hepatitis A. All offers are contingent upon successful completion of required screening.
