Job summary

E A Southee Public School in Regional NSW is seeking a qualified School Counsellor to support student wellbeing and learning outcomes. The role involves counselling students, conducting psychological assessments, and working with families and external agencies in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will hold registration or provisional registration as a psychologist, be willing to travel between worksites, and work under the NSW Teachers award with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions with mental health needs.
• Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including reports.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Must be a registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration.
• Ability and willingness to travel between worksites. Must have a valid unrestricted driver's licence.
• Must have approval to teach or eligibility to apply for approval to teach under NSW Teachers award.
