Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Counseling Intern for the 2026-2027 school year. As a Counseling Intern, you will collaborate with a school counselor to provide comprehensive support for students' social and academic needs while pursuing your Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, enrollment in a Master’s program, and an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Candidates will help implement the TUSD School Counseling Program and work at multiple school locations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the last year of a Master’s Degree program in School Counseling.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola and rubella or MMR immunization required.
• Reliable mode of personal transportation with valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school counselors to implement the TUSD School Counseling Program.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.
• Assist students with course planning and post-secondary education applications.
