Job summary

Sylvania is looking for a Counseling Intern for the Tucson Unified School District, where you will collaborate with an assigned school counselor to implement the school counseling program. This role is ideal for individuals currently enrolled in the last year of a Master's Degree in School Counseling, receiving mentorship and valuable experience in a school environment.

The intern will help support students' social, emotional, and academic well-being while gaining practical insight into the counseling responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the last year of a Master’s Degree program in School Counseling that meets Arizona Department of Education Certification requirements.
• Valid driver's license required within 30 days of hire.
• Proof of MMR immunization or immunity to rubeola and rubella.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with assigned school counselor to implement the TUSD School Counseling Program.
• Support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students.
• Assist students with course planning and post-secondary education.
