Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Glendale, AZ to provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT in a school setting.

This contract position offers $40 per hour, 40 hours weekly, with benefits including health/dental/vision/life insurance and a 401(k). Pediatric experience preferred; current OTA licensure required; CPR and health documentation as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an OccupationalTherapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational TherapyAssistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational TherapyAssistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.
