The role supports the Catering Manager with day-to-day operations and upholds food safety and hygiene standards. The position offers 30 hours per week (8:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday) with a pro rata salary of £18,531.69 per year for this part-time role, reflecting sector pay scale and benefits such as a Health Cash

Qualifications

• Has previous catering experience, ideally within a school or college environment.
• Holds a current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and has a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Has a genuine interest in food and providing a high-quality service to students, staff and visitors.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and flexible, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Can work efficiently under pressure, prioritise their workload and maintain high standards at all times.
