Job summary

Amergis is seeking a CNA School Aide to support students in diverse settings, including one-on-one and classroom assistance, as well as health office clinics.

The role involves instructional support, personal care, behavior assistance, and delivering basic health services under the supervision of the district nurse or a clinical designee.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant required by state/contract/or client.
• CPR, if applicable.
• TB questionnaire.
• PPD or chest x-ray, if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional support in various settings (one-on-one, classroom, health office clinics).
• Assist with personal care tasks as required.
• Provide behavioral support and management as needed.
• Deliver basic health services in the school health clinic.
• Work under the supervision of the district school nurse or a clinical designee.
