ABM Industries is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties at K-12 or higher education campuses. The role involves cleaning classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices and common areas, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment, and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.

ABM emphasizes a comprehensive benefits package. Veterans and military experience are encouraged to apply, and on-the-job training is provided for those new to the field.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain assigned areas in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices and stairways.
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris, and clean spills in designated areas.
• Regularly empty trash in all designated areas.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and fixtures.
• Notify lead cleaner or manager about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors and managers.
