Job summary

The Goddard School of Waunakee, WI is seeking a dependable School Kitchen Support to assist with daily meal preparation and ensure nutritious options for children aged 12 months through 6 years.

Responsibilities include keeping the kitchen clean and safe, preparing snacks at 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, washing dishes, light cleaning, and sharing a monthly menu with families while following all food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience cooking for young children preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Positive attitude and enjoyment of working in a school environment.

• Prepare and serve simple, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children
  • 9:00 AM Morning Snack
  • 12:00 PM Lunch
  • 3:00 PM Afternoon Snack
• Wash dishes and sanitize kitchen equipment
• Perform light cleaning duties throughout the school as needed
