Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking personnel to provide a security presence at the school complex, patrolling premises and monitoring student activities to ensure safety. The role may involve reporting unauthorized personnel and diffusing incidents while reinforcing positive behavior.

Additional duties include minor housekeeping, groundskeeping, and performing other duties. Training is required for crossing guard responsibilities and DPS FPCC clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides a security presence at the school complex by walking around the facility and monitoring activities and students; reports unauthorized personnel.
• Monitors campus activities to ensure student safety, identify safety violations, diffuses situations, and reinforces positive social behavior.
• Performs minor housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks to keep the environment free of litter and dangerous situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
