Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a security guard to provide a visible security presence at the school complex, patrol the facility, monitor activities, and report unauthorized individuals to the school office. You will monitor campus safety, may identify safety violations, diffuse situations among students, and perform light housekeeping to keep the environment free of litter and hazards.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; crossing guard training and a DPS fingerprint

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to recognize safety risks and maintain a secure environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides a security presence by patrolling the school complex and monitoring activities.
• Monitors campus safety and reports safety violations or unauthorized individuals.
