Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District is seeking a part-time security worker to support before/after school hours and substitute coverage at school sites. Role is as-needed and follows duties of a full-time security officer, including campus patrols, access control, and incident reporting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, Arizona driver’s license, and relevant experience with youth or security. Training and certifications may be required within probationary period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with youth preferred.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license required; background check and fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security presence at campuses on foot, vehicle, or bike.
• Monitor student behavior and report misconduct to administrators.
• Escort students and monitor gates, doors, and parking areas.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with drills and evacuations.
• Prepare written reports and communicate with staff via email.
