Job summary

Scottsdale Unified School District seeks a Security Aide to provide a visible security presence at a school complex, patrolling the facility, monitoring activities and students, and reporting unauthorized personnel to the office.

This role supports campus safety, reinforces positive social behavior, and performs light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment. A high school diploma and Crossing Guard training/FPCC may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Requires basic safety and security principles and customer service orientation.
• Must be able to identify safety risks and communicate effectively with staff and students.
• Crossing Guard training and DPS fingerprint clearance may be required depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a security presence at the school complex by patrolling the area and monitoring activities and students.
• Monitor campus activities to help ensure student safety and de-escalate incidents; reinforce positive behavior.
• Perform minor housekeeping and groundskeeping tasks to keep the environment free of litter and dangerous situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
