Chartwells K12 is hiring a Food Unit Lead for the Tri Creek School Corporation in Lowell, IN. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour and an immediate start for a full-time position.

Prior food service experience is required, and you will oversee a team in a school dining environment. This role offers a stable weekday schedule with nights, weekends, and holidays off, and an opportunity to contribute to student meals and dining programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of other food-service employees.
• Oversees preparation and service of food in accordance with standards for presentation, sanitation, safety and portion control.
• Supervises serving of meals and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
• Trains employees and assigns work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Manages cash handling and completes required daily/weekly/monthly reports.
