Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service or working with children preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and take direction.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and meal service for K-8 students.
• Serve breakfast and lunch to students in a timely and respectful manner.
• Support student supervision in the cafeteria during meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of food service areas, including tables, counters, and serving lines.
• Assist with dishwashing, trash removal, and end-of-day clean-up.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
• Take direction from the Cafeteria Manager and school leadership.
• Support inventory organization and restocking as needed.
