Job summary

NSFM is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for our school dining operation. You will assist in FOH and BOH activities, prepare and serve meals, and help maintain a clean, efficient cafeteria environment.

The role requires teamwork, mentoring management style, and a commitment to accurate paperwork and record-keeping. Daily duties include rotations on lunch service and coordination with the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Must pass NJ state background check and fingerprinting.
• Experience in food service is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of meals and cafeteria setup.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager on daily tasks.
• Serve nutritious meals to students and maintain cleanliness.
• Operate the POS and handle daily sales inputs.
• Maintain daily production sheets and records.
