Qualifications

• Prior experience in a school cafeteria or institutional food service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals following guidelines and portion standards.
• Assist with daily food prep including chopping, cooking, baking, and assembling meals.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (ovens, slicers, dishwashers).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving lines, storage and dining areas.
• Follow HACCP sanitation regulations and minimize waste.
• Provide friendly, patient service to students and staff.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and securing equipment.
