Job summary

Manteca Unified School District is seeking a part-time cafeteria assistant to help in preparation and serving of meals, and to maintain clean kitchen areas. Under supervision, you will support food service operations during the morning shift (8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. / 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Prior food service experience is desirable; a high school diploma is required. Number of openings: One or more; EOE.

Qualifications

• Must have a resume.
• Must provide one professional letter of recommendation with signature.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of a food safety certification program is desirable.
• Experience in a school nutrition program or food service is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of food in the school cafeteria.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
