Description

The Grafton Job Corps is seeking a School Cafeteria Manager to join our team! We are a vocational training school that assists 16-24 years old students with academic and career training. We help them obtain jobs in their trade (e.g., Nursing, Plumbing, Security, etc.) upon completion of the program. This position oversees the Cafeteria area and Food Service Staff, ensuring students receive proper nutrition.

Schedule & Salary
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Annual salary: $48,000
Position Summary

Responsible for supervising and managing the food service area.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee food preparation activities.
  • Manage the dining room, student monitors, behavior, and Food Service department.
  • Ensure quality control, plan menus, coordinate food purchases, and manage the food service budget.
  • Maintain sanitation compliance and cleanliness of all food service areas.
Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associates Degree from an accredited institution and one year of management/supervisory experience, or 5 years of Food Service Supervisory Experience as a substitute.
  • Three to five years in institutional food preparation and technical training preferred.
  • Must obtain or have ServSafe credentials.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and crouching. Ability to lift 40 pounds or assess lift load for assistance.
